7). IRAQ :

Dubai : ‘The Gardens’ (a project by Nakheel), Dubai, UAE has installed solar-powered LED R247C flashing beacons provided by GESOLAR™ . The number of vehicles frequently moving inside this large community living increased the risk of accidents and residents safety. R247C is installed at the entrance of ‘The Gardens’ which will alert the motorists and to watch for pedestrians, speed breakers, school children and cyclists.

The Gardens, is a first community of its kind in the UAE spread over 220 hectares. The first phase consists of 129 low-rise buildings of 3,828 apartments of one, two and three bedrooms. The Gardens Community (a project by Nakheel) is designed for a lifestyle of convenience and functionality, with view of lush landscaped gardens, playgrounds, swimming pools, basketball courts and volleyball courts.

R247C solar LED flashing beacon is engineered for up to five years of maintenance-free operation, and will flash 24 hours per day 365 days per year. The system automatically adjusts to prevailing solar conditions to ensure continuous, dependable operation.

67) Dubai Civil Aviation orders Solar Airport Lights for Dubai International Airport

Dubai:GESOLAR™ has Provides Dubai Civil Aviation, solar-powered LED airfield lights to be installed at Dubai International Airport. The order consists of solar-powered LED model A601 red lights.  

The Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai is the governing body that oversees the management of Dubai International Airport which is the recipient of awards like – Best Airport Middle East (Business Traveler Germany), Best Airport Worldwide (Selling Long Haul, UK), World’s leading Airport and ME’s leading airport (World Travel Awards) in the year 2005. 68) UNOPS contracts Green Energy for solar products

Dubai: GESOLAR™ is pleased to report that it has been contracted by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) to supply solar products. These products are in transit to its counterpart in Afghanistan.

In the field of development, UNOPS is the largest service provider in the United Nations system, working on behalf of more than 30 UN departments and organizations; in any area that the United Nations has a mandate. UNOPS has delivered billions of dollars of services for tens of thousands of projects around the world.

The UNOPS program in Afghanistan was redirected as a service provider to Government and UN partners in early 2002, and carefully developed according to structure tried and tested during 13 years of post conflict reconstruction experience

69) Green Energy installs Solar Water pump system in Mubi,Nigeria

Nigeria: GESOLAR™ has installed Solar Water pump system at the University of Technology, Mubi, a town situated north east to Nigeria. The project was funded by the British American Tobacco Foundation and was installed through our distributors M/s. Borordo & Co. Nig Ltd. The solar water pump uses sunlight to pump water effectively and have proved to be a boon to the students in the university as the authorities have been facing a challenge on clean & healthy drinking resources from long.

The system proves to be the most reliable & feasible solution in places like Nigeria where the water is usually pumped using hand pumps or from open wells using ropes. The systems are designed to operate effectively and require no maintenance for up to 5 years. By using these solar water pumps the students have access to clean water that will help to improve the sanitary conditions in this region.

70) Solar Water Pumps -Yola, Nigeria

Nigeria: GESOLAR™ , through its distributor M/s. Borodo & Co.Nig Ltd., has supplied complete Solar Water pump system to the Federal Health Center in Yola, Nigeria. The project, which was funded by the British American Tobacco Foundation, has proved helpful for the patients visiting FHC, as clean water resources have been a decline during the past years.

Dubai : GESOLAR™ has supplied solar system to a leading contractor of Dubai Municipality to power traffic controllers using solar energy. The system, installed on the Dubai – Hatta / Oman road, provides Dubai Municipality with information related to traffic monitoring and counting vehicles.
